Tom Cruise has dropped a shocking stunt ahead of Mission: Impossible 8.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the Hollywood star posted a video clip showing behind-the-scenes from Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
The first post showed a photo of Cruise preparing for the stunt, meanwhile the next clip featured a dramatic plunge into the water.
In the caption, Cruise wrote, “From Legend in 1985 to Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, I have been studying and filming underwater sequences for over 40 years.”
“We have always tried to push our filmmaking to the next level, and in this movie McQ and I saw an opportunity to create an underwater sequence unlike any other. We are excited to share it with you,” Tom Cruise added.
Notably, in another post he shared a video clip featuring behind-the-scenes of the film’s crew. In the video clip, Cruise can be seen preparing for the stunt and discussing it with the crew.
“It’s all about preparation and communication,” the actor added.
It is worth mentioning that Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set to release on May 21, 2025.
