Rwanda’s Foreign Minister Dr. Vincent Biruta has arrived in Islamabad on a four-day official visit. The Director General for Africa at the Foreign Office, Hasnain Yousaf, received him upon arrival.

Diplomatic sources told Aaj News the visit is part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to expand its engagement with African nations under the “Engage Africa” policy. Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Pakistan was also present at the airport to receive the visiting dignitary.

In a separate diplomatic development, the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad later this evening. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation for bilateral meetings expected to focus on economic cooperation, investment, and regional developments.
