Pakistan Army launched a swift and effective counterattack, destroying several Indian posts as Indian forces carried out a serious ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) during the night between April 29 and 30.
Indian forces targeted the Kiani and Mandal sectors with unprovoked small arms fire, security sources reported.
Among the destroyed positions was the Chakpatra post, located in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
However, after the retaliation by the Pakistani Army, Indian forces ceased their firing.
Pakistani defense sources have confirmed that the country’s armed forces remain fully alert and prepared to respond to any form of aggression.
Officials stated that “any hostile move by India would be seen as an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and would receive a strong and immediate response.”
