A protest by members of the legal community on Friday night caused significant traffic disruption on Main Korangi Road near the Defence Mor Baloch Colony intersection, according to Karachi Traffic Police.

The protest, held against the Station House Officer (SHO) of Defence Police Station, led to the complete blockage of both inbound and outbound lanes at the Baloch Colony signal. The protest began around 9:30 pm and quickly resulted in gridlock in the area.

In response, traffic authorities diverted vehicles toward alternative routes. Commuters coming from Akhtar Colony Signal were directed toward Khayaban-e-Jami, while traffic from the Defence Signal side was guided to take a U-turn back toward Kala Pul.
